Hi Felix,

I really love the black and white photos, I usually opt for colour, but not any more, its simply amazing how more powerful the photos look. Keep up the wonderful photography and thank you for sharing your beautiful photos on your fab new website :-)

I agree. I've seen a lot of edits of music stuff to make it look like it was taken with fast film, IE grainy and that 'film' look. Its down to artistic choice I suppose. Some nice colour music photography at www.helenboastphotography.com That's a level for me to aspire if I wanted to get into Music as a career.

Well, as Glenn said, black and white is quite good when the colour detail isn't great -- low-light, monochrome (white lights), high ISO, etc -- all good reasons for B&W.

I think where possible, and if the lights are awesome, colour still adds a huge amount to a photo :)

Can't beat a good B&W. Music photos lend themselves nicely to B&W. Colour shatters the illusion a bit.

Black and white looks miles better in this series. I think it removes the grainy colour you got from the low light and makes it work in the style's favour.
Good old B&W!

Definitely, viewed holistically, the entire thing in B&W made a lot more sense.
