Lauren is the creative mind behind Lyon fine jewelery. After a chance encounter in New York late last year, Lauren and I became friends and I quickly found out about her jewelry design work; and she my photography.
Her design sensibilities were obvious, her own style was very provocative in a classy, understated way. Something that is also reflected in her current line.
A couple of months ago, we got together to create a series of simple images that showcased her personality and public image.
The result are the images you see here. Shot on location at the Highlands NYC, a scottish-themed restaurant in the West Village and the Chelsea Highline.
The shoot itself was heaps of fun, Lauren is one of those people that has incredible femininity in a strong yet approachable way. Her allure is reflected in her jewelry line.
